The service and the release it was built from

GET 
/api/v1/version

Unauthenticated, and answered by both surfaces. The deploy agent waits on this until the release it deployed is the one reported. version is what the image build set: 0.0.0+ and the abbreviated commit the image was built from, or dev for a build that set none.
