resolveCorrelationId(inbound): string

Adopts a caller-supplied correlation id if it is well-formed, otherwise mints one.

Parameters

inbound

string | readonly string[] | undefined

The raw header value; an array (repeated header) uses its first entry.

Returns

string

A safe id. Never throws, and never returns the rejected input.
