databaseConfigSchema(): TObject<{ host: TString; name: TString; password: TUnsafe<SecretRefValue>; pool: TObject<{ max: TInteger; }>; port: TInteger; role: TString; }>

The database block of a service's configuration schema, for defineConfigSchema({ database: databaseConfigSchema() }). Resolved, it is a DatabaseConfig. Nothing here has a default in code: role and pool.max are decisions a deployment states, because the role decides what a service may write and the pool size is summed into the connection budget.
