Function: consumerConfig()

consumerConfig(stream, consumer): DeclaredConsumerConfig

Defined in: packages/messaging/src/streams.ts:187

The configuration of a durable consumer: a pull consumer with explicit acks and no delivery limit, filtered to the stream's own subjects, or to the consumer's reads where the table gives it a narrower list (two modules exchanging events on one stream each read their own half). A message its reader cannot take yet is retried until it can, never skipped; a message that is bad is terminated by the reader, not redelivered.

Parameters

stream

"AUDIT" | "GOVERNANCE" | "TRUST" | "PROVISIONING" | "PLACEMENT" | "ISSUANCE"

consumer

string

The durable name, as the permission table lists it.

Returns

DeclaredConsumerConfig

A fresh object, safe to modify.

Throws

The table lists no such consumer on the stream, or the consumer has no subject to read.
