The OpenID Federation entity types an accreditation may name: the federation's own (federation_entity), the OAuth and OpenID Connect roles of OpenID Federation 1.0, and the wallet ecosystem's issuer, verifier and wallet provider.

Closed, and deliberately wider than slice 2 uses, because these values appear in a reply and an event, where widening a literal later is a new version (29). A type on this list is not a promise that the platform can publish metadata for it; the renderer's allowlist (D2.14) decides what reaches an artifact.
