Variable: INVITATION_STATES

Where a person's invitation to the staff realm stands, as an administrator needs it:

  • none: nobody asked to invite this person (created without invite, or the root account the setup engine makes);
  • pending: requested, and the platform is still working on it, retrying while the identity provider is unreachable;
  • sent: the provider accepted the mail. Whether the person used it is not known here, and the link in it can expire, which is what the invitation route is for;
  • failed: the platform gave up; INVITATION_FAILURE_REASONS says why.
